The
Fund for Public Health in New York, Inc. (FPHNY) works independently
and in partnership with the NYC
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to raise
funds in support of critical public health programs and
to administer grant programs tackling important public health
needs. FPHNY's relationship with DOHMH affords private
donors who are interested in safeguarding or advancing public
health in New York City with a unique and expedient way
to collaborate closely with the public sector, blending
the expertise and scale of City government with the efficiency,
flexibility, and dedication of a not-for-profit. FPHNY.
