At the Fund for Public Health in New York, Inc. ("FPHNY") we understand that privacy is important, and we are strongly committed to protecting the privacy of our donors and visitors to our website ("Site"). This Privacy Policy applies only to this Site and not necessarily to other companies' or organizations' websites to which we link. Before using this Site, please carefully read this Privacy Policy because, by using the Site, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
Personal Information is not used for any other purpose than what it is provided for. Donor information is not distributed.
If you volunteer to make a donation by credit card, you will be directed to the website of our service provider, Network for Good, and Network for Good will collect your credit card and other personal information. Network for Good will process your credit card transaction and send FPHNY a transaction report that contains some of the personal information it collects (unless you specify that a gift be "anonymous"), but not your credit card information. We seek such information to facilitate your donations and communicate with you about them. Unless you specify that a gift be "anonymous" or otherwise request that your name not be listed, we list the names of donors in brochures and benefit programs to recognize the generosity of those who have given to our causes. We do not sell our donor lists to anyone, nor do we include them in any direct mail solicitations.
In addition, we may use other internal service providers to facilitate our services, and therefore, may provide some of your personally identifiable information directly to them. We may also employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, such as sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from donor lists, analyzing data, processing credit card payments and providing customer service. These companies and individuals have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for any other purpose.
