Understanding and Informing Health Policy

Creating sound public health policy depends on the ability of public health practitioners, community-based organizations, elected officials, academics and the lay-public to use all available data to assess existing conditions and to monitor trends over time. The Fund for Public Health in New York (FPHNY) is engaged in efforts to bring new information on public health trends to light through data collection and analysis and collaborative policy development efforts.
